This was a fun return to the Buffyverse! I loved catching up with some of the characters. It was a bit too campy for my taste. I didn’t love the explanation for how Frankie was “conceived”. I also felt the menstrual jokes where childish and unnecessary. While some parts of In Every Generation were eyeroll cringey, I did enjoy the mystery of the story line. It’s that mystery that will get me to pick up the second book.
