Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson
4.0
The book doesn't give me as much satisfaction as the first one, but the story isn't bad at all! It actually has a nice relation to the first one without having to force itself to have another grand case to solve. However, I think there are some parts that aren't too relevant to the main case, only as a continuation to the first book, which I didn't enjoy that much.
I like the case though. I think it's nice that it started small, and then it ended up being something bigger each clue Pip got. It's unlike the first book when the case was already big, this is not. It's a nice change of pace, case-wise, and I think the ending was realistic too. Oh, the part where the police came late was also realistic. lol
I can't give a full 5 stars, but this is a really good read. I'd say, much lighter than the first book.
