This book was absolutely brilliant. It’s a gripping murder mystery layered with ghosts, deep friendships, and just the right touch of romance — and somehow, it all comes together seamlessly.
Once I got through the first few chapters, I was completely hooked. I couldn’t put it down and had to know how it all ended.
Fair warning: some parts will seriously get under your skin (the police? So frustrating!). But it’s absolutely worth the read.
I’ll definitely be checking out more of Simone St. James’ work after this!
