This book did little to nothing for me. In the blurb, it’s described as cerebral. Man… that is an understatement.
The book is about a teenager who believes he has Pan, the god, in his head and it’s trying to burst out of him. He notices this when he stares at things to long and when he tells his new friends about it, they’re all hella interested in this and one of them has all these fucked up theories.
I truly don’t know what’s going on with all this. I every sentence is ripe with allegories and double meanings but I couldn’t grasp them. I kept thinking, how are these teenagers so philosophical, well-spoken and well-read? It’s not realistic. Hard pass from me.
