I’m finding I’m not a big fan of short stories. However, of the three horror anthologies I’ve attempted in the last year, this is the first I didn’t fail to finish due to boredom. There were a couple of stories I loved (Skullpocket and the Diabolist) a couple that I liked and a couple I didn’t care for. Overall, I think every story isn’t for every reader, but I would certainly revisit works by this Nathan Ballingrud in the future!
