More: A Memoir of Open Marriage by Molly Roden Winter

I didn’t rate this book because my normal genre is romance novels and this is a memoir. I am not interested in opening up my marriage, but I found this book fascinating. I read this book as an audiobook + really enjoyed the fact that it’s self narrated. I found her story captivating and honest. While our life styles are very different, I found her therapy sessions to be very relatable. She was telling her therapist that she keeps trying to “fill her bucket” but she still feels empty. Her therapist explained to her that in order to feel full you’ve got to patch the hole in the bottom of the bucket. Honestly, I think therapy and communication is what fixed her marriage, not opening it. However, I really enjoyed this audiobook and I commend her for sharing her story.
