I’m in good company when I say Eleventh Hour is my favorite arc. Cary Pietsch’s work here is excellent, per usual, so I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed with the resulting graphic novel, but I did feel like some of the story-smoothing that was done in translation sometimes made things confusing??

For example they never explained why June had the cup or that she was the one who created the bubble, and then just left her, silently, with her dad’s murderer to while they antagonized the worm? I struggled.
