I guess I've just committed to a trashy YA series... not that I'm complaining.

This book is definitely trashy YA, but just because it's trashy, doesn't mean it's not good. In fact, this book was great. I was always trying to guess what certain clues meant (and I was always wrong or drawing a blank), and following along with the story from the perspective of someone who was literally thrown into this mess was really interesting.

I've got to say that Jennifer Lynn Barnes has got to be some kind of genius to craft this sort of book. Figuring out a puzzle and how all of the pieces and clues fit into it requires a lot of brains, so props to her.

There is a love triangle in this book... so, yeah. I'm not the biggest fan of love triangles, personally, but this one was semi-tolerable.

This is a tiny complaint that may have just been my copy or the batch my copy came from, but there were a decent amount of typos, especially at the beginning. Nothing crazy, but my brain stumbled over them a little bit.
