This book is such an incredible commentary on beauty standards and capitalism. People will continue to take advantage of others if we allow the systems in place to continue. I think this novel is honestly a cautionary tale of what’s the come if we aren’t able to change. 

All that being said it was also incredibly entertaining. The scene first describing the insemination gave me chills and made me nauseous just to think about all of this being done against her will.

I also want to acknowledge the lack of a true name for our main character being such a powerful choice. I think it really acknowledges how little she was worth to those doing damage to her. 

Loved this book and I see myself thinking about it for a very long time
