I re-read this book after 20 years because it feels very relevant to the social and economic disparities in America right now. Upon finishing, I still say Sydney Carton is in my top 3 all time characters, and I still cried like a baby at the end already knowing what would happen. Charles Dickens is absolutely relevant to our time.
