if you’re reading for smut it’s good, the plot is definitely lacking and insanely hard to believe i.e. high school sex dungeon parties (in underground church catacombs might i add)? him casually being in the NBA but somehow always around? them being arsonists as a prank? like who is that pranking i don’t understand lmao. CASUALLY MURDERING HIS OWN BROTHER?
the rape jokes and constant sa that was just glossed over was entirely unnecessary. their entire plan was to blackmail her into having sex with them very gross behavior and she just forgives them so easily i get it’s a ‘smut’ novel and sex is major plot point but they could’ve just as easily only blackmailed her for money given that it added nothing to the storyline but making all the friends seem like horrible people (which we later are supposed to forgive with the exception of damon)
overall it was entertaining i read the whole thing in one sitting but i feel like i should have spent that time being a productive member of society instead
