I found this to be a useful overview of the 2000's-2010-s Israeli military actions and has given me a lot of useful broadstrokes understanding to my other reading, but of course I will continue to round out my information. It's straightforward and tightly written.
One take way here for our current times (Nov '23) is that international pressure works, it has stopped Israel in the past, it has been the only thing that has stopped them.
I listened on audio and the reading could have been better TBH, but you get the idea.
