i'm glad i decided to continue on to this series because this is so much better than the first two books! it actually doesn't feel like they were together for over just the summer. or i'm just tired with the overuse plot of a couple stuck together over the winter. anyway, my only wish was that the author could've changed their ages a bit. i mean, by now crimson ridge now has three cowboys in their 40s with 25 year old girlfriends. but anyway.
i liked the drama in here better because never mind the fact that he kind of cheated on his wife because she is doing it too for yearsss. she's also such a btch to beau and sage that she deserved the karma that hit her in the end.
i also liked how obsessed beau is. i mean he told her she is his sunset sky? please. i loved that moment. sage's words during the third act break up moved me too. they're the cutest and they're my favorite couple in this series.
