I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max

3.0

This guy really is a jerk. He gives fair warning on the back of the book...but I did not anticipate how much I would alternate between hating and liking him. A majority of the things he does in the book and how he treats women is appalling.

He's relatable. Unfortunately, I have a few male friends that are just like him. Fortunately, I have never dated a guy like him!

Some of his stories were hysterical, some kind of boring. A few were totally unbelievable and I am sure that he was more than exaggerating in many of them. All though some were completely outlandish, they were still entertaining. I really don't care if it really happened, as long as I am being entertained. I will admit that several parts of the book made me laugh out loud. I liked the chapter on Vegas! I think the only thing that sort of redeems his actions, is he knows that he's being an ass. He doesn't necessarily apologize, but he owns up to it. I can respect that.
