Endurance: A Year in Space, a Lifetime of Discovery
by Scott Kelly
Gets an average rating from me because I was not really interested. Love reading sci-fi that includes extensive space travel by various species that have mastered this quest. On the other hand, this account of incremental progress toward being successful in space mainly reminds me of the current situation of needing to shelter-in-place because of Covid-19.
It’s interest, training, dedication, persistence, excellent attention to the finest of details, support of crew, and yes, endurance to accomplish the mission and stay healthy that are of interest here, to me. The human status quo does not trend upward in space—as humans have a hard time with masks and distancing and self-quarantining.
