I liked this book more than the first one. I don’t know if it’s because I have more context and understand more of the plot and storyline but I preferred this book. Again I loved the idea of the basically forced marriage and then they ended up falling in love. That was a super interesting plot, but I am a big fan of enemies to lovers. The smut didn’t feel as misplaced as in the first book which was really nice. I also loved all the twists and slow revealing of information that was not know in the first book. Some characters are portrayed very differently from the first and second book but I loved it.
