adventurous emotional tense medium-paced

the relationship between Inara and Skedi was the best part of the trilogy, I feel.

I sensed the toxic gay love between Arren and Elo from book 1, I was glad that they didn't have a happy resolution with all what Arren has done. There's no redemption possible there.

The betrayal of the cleric was lame and predictable though. It kinda felt anti-climatic.

The sacrifice from Skedi did make me tear up, cause after the 3 books I do have to admit I've became attached to the lil' cat-like god.
