This author writes about the abuse of women in a horrible way. I can’t tell if she(the author) believes the things she writes, or if she’s trying to write a commentary on internalized sexism that we’re supposed to disagree with? Throughout the book she sexualizes children, defends rapists, says men shouldn’t have soft feelings, and uses offensive words for trans people. Left a bad taste in my mouth. The mystery is intriguing but predictable.
