Dreamology by Lucy Keating

I got this book in e-book format and just so you can see how much I liked it, I was at around 56% and I ordered the paperback edition right away. This book is amazing. Yes, it's cheesy and slightly romantic and with several fantasy/scifi aspects but it's fantastic, honestly. The characters are well developed and I loved seeing a book where there's little drama. Ok there's a small scene of dramas (
SpoilerWhen Celeste finds out that about their kiss
) but even that is handled fairly well. I was surprised. It was a bit weird seeing how they told their parents absolutely nothing. I don't know if that's usual in the US but my mom would *kill* me if I took off like that and I'm already 25yo, so you can picture if I was a teen lol But still, the story is amazing and I love how the dreams and reality worked. I really enjoyed the psicological aspect and information and wonder if they're accurate and will investigate more into it. I was only hoping seeing reference to Freud's work with dreams in the novel but besides a small reference in a class, there wasn't much.

The writing is very easy and you can easily read-along. At first I was a bit confused because it starts right with a dream and with no idea that it is a dream but after about 10/20 pages you start getting the hang of it. Don't let the beginning make you stop, this is a pretty good YA!

Definitely going on my "Favourites" list! :)
