I find it very interesting how literary work intertwine through history. Although this story is way prior to both authors, I found myself feeling like I was reading the feeling and thoughts of Kahlil Gibran written by Ariano Suassuna. Really enjoyed the tale.
Another great aspect was the introduction and parting words. I like to think about languages and context, so it was very interesting to read.
Definitely an accessable, amusing and beautiful classic.
