I LOVE THIS BOOK!
I loved the writing, the characters, the message, the ending! It was so good!
One thing I really liked was that there were several places in the book that I wondered if I was near the ending, but I wasn't (IN THE VERY BEST WAY!!).
I am amazed at how well Lord portrayed the story of a transfer student who was dealing with building a community and support. I loved how connected Andie Rose was to her heritage!! Then the real-ness of her relationship with her father was just AMAZING! I am just so impressed with this book compared to what I thought it might be, which wasn't bad, just more of a pallet cleanser maybe, but it was phenomenal! I plan to find a way to get it into my academic library's popular reading/wellbeing collection!
