It’s important to stand still sometimes. Think of it as a little rest in the long journey of your life. This is your harbor. And your boat is just dropping anchor here for a little while. And after you’re well rested, you can set sail again.
this book had such a good premise, but, unfortunately, i think its brevity was ultimately its downfall. i wish we were able to connect with the characters more, as the plot did come off feeling rushed in some places. i did still enjoy it, though. it was a very heartwarming, feel-good read with quite the poignant message. i just really, really wish it was longer because i’d have loved to explore the setting, the characters, and their arcs more. anw! still a good read. 4/5 stars ⭐️
