The Sound and the Fury: An Authoritative Text, Backgrounds and Contexts, Criticism by C. Vann Woodward, Robert Penn Warren, Noel Polk, Jean-Paul Sartre, Richard H. King, Ben Wasson, David Minter, Ralph Ellison, Irving Howe, William Faulkner

4.0

This is a very complicated book. if I hadn't read it with a professor guiding me, I would have hated this. I really enjoyed it once I understood it and I did understand it on my own sometimes but I just feel like a lot went over my head. I really enjoyed how each section was told in a different way though. Everything about this book was super interesting. It makes me want to read more Faulkner (even though the thought terrifies me)
