This book tells the story from the Beast's point of view, from before he was cursed to when the curse is lifted.
It is an interesting read which I enjoyed and read over 2 days. However, there are a couple of bits within the book which, for me don't match with the original story/film (e.g. his ex putting the curse on him).
If you're a fan of Disney, this is definitely worth a read to see things from an alternative point of view, and for an additional bit of perspective.
