It was hard for me to admit that it was time to DNF this one... I was really looking forward to reading this book. The main concept of the book intrigued me with the world-building, and I found the way the kingdoms were set up really unique.
However, I found myself unable to connect with the story due to not liking the way the writing flowed. The pacing felt very sluggish and drawn out, making it really difficult for me to stay engaged.
The book will be available on KU, so give it a shot and see if you enjoy it. I don't see myself revisiting this book after its release.
