Let me start by saying this book needed so much more research than what was (probably) done.
I was mostly enjoying this up until the 70% mark, after that when
I encourage you the read some of the one star reviews left by Somali users, but also a lot of the other one star reviews that put into words what's wrong with this book.

Josh went back to Somalia and Drew started thinking about visiting him at the refugee camp things changed. It all went downhill when she actually got on a private jet, with, I quote, "a backpack that holds a few changes of clothes-and lingerie". GIRL?? This specific thing felt so disrespectful. And don't get me started on the way Somalia is portrayed throughout the book and some of the jokes that are in this. I honestly don't remember the first book to be like this, so I'm wondering if I forgot about it or if the author "went wild" while writing the second bookI encourage you the read some of the one star reviews left by Somali users, but also a lot of the other one star reviews that put into words what's wrong with this book.
