This was one of my most anticipated reads for January and it didn’t disappoint! The relationship was so hot and sweet, with the same trope of him being secretly sweet, but viewing himself as a monster, as was in the first one, which I loved. I love a fake marriage/marriage of convenience and Psyche is perfection - sweet, sexy, plus-sized, ready to fight for those she loves, and queer. I get that this pairing isn’t queer, and that we only go off her recounting of a previous unreciprocated crush, but I’m still happy to see it. Overall, I loved every minute of it and recommend it for any fans of Greek Mythology, erotic retellings, and anyone who loved the first one!
