Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin A. Abbott

This should be a quick read, I just kept getting distracted. I read an old copy without another author's introduction, and had only heard about it in the context of its scientific merit. I did not know it was a satire of anything, though in hindsight I guess it should have been obvious. Very interesting read!
