Shane and Rosen are the stereotypical opposites attract in this story.
Enjoyed the overall trope of a wrongly accused man being released after serving 10 years in prison with his only intent to screw over the guy who really did it, Ros' dad.
Spice kicks off immediately with Shane taking Ros' virginity in the first chapter which was unexpected.
Shane was too quick to fall for Ros, IMO. I would have liked a few chapters where Shane hated Ros for who's son he is and continued to plot to bring down Ros' father through him with no remorse. I feel like it would have set for a better conflict mid book with Shane's changing feelings.
The plot was predictable but hopefully a good set up for the rest of the series.
Dex(Franks Nephew) seems fun but Jag sounds WILD, would love to see him later in the series with his own story since he sounds a bit insane.
