I took this book along with me to read on my weekend vacation. And it turned out to be the perfect companion when I was surrounded by clouds and constant rains. The mystical story set in the dessert of Rajasthan, juxtaposed with myth, magic and reality seemed to turn my own thoughts wishful and almost supernatural.
I loved the author's style of writing, the interviews that build up to the climax, the open ended ending, the detail with which she describes the nomadic tribes and their beliefs and culture. She had me enthralled in her story from the start to the end.
