I'll admit, up until this point, didn't understand what someone meant when they said a book was a cozy mystery. Maybe I've still got it wrong, but this felt like on to me. I had seen so much going around about this book, so decided to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did!

I was laughing out loud at the situations Finlay would get herself into and how she tried to do good, but it always inadvertently came back to bite her. I really loved her as a character and found her to have depth along with Vero. I also really enjoyed how the two had different personalities, but balanced and complimented each other in their friendship.

Throughout the book there were plot twists I didn't see coming, comedic relief, sarcasm, tension, character growth and a great plot line. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
