The Truants by Kate Weinberg

4.0

The question you’re left with after this book is: “well did they really do it?”

Kate Weinberg is effortless in her writing style when it comes to describing places and situations. It feels like you’re on a personal journey along with Jess Walker who comes of age in this mystery novel.

Friends, family, a lecturer and a journalist all have their own part to play in revealing secrets and truths. The ironic thing is, Agatha Christie and her books/plots are mentioned a lot and the actual mystery that these characters go through is like they’re living through one themselves.
