feeling complex emotions so rating might change. i'm not sure what ending i expected, i need to stop letting myself be tricked into sad endings and books where the main selling point is a brief moment in the characters' lives. you know, like, a fleeting moment that made it's way into a book.
i enjoyed it and held onto a lot of passages with my teeth. i took a night bus to the airport and back because it just put me into that sort of mood. you can decide what mood that is.
somehow i kept wishing she'd decide to leave or maybe not have the baby, it didn't feel like anyone really deserved each other.
