Out of all the books in Reich's Temperance Brennan series so far, this one felt the closest to how an episode of Bones would go. The focus was primarily on a set of bones and the murder plot, while still intertwined in the story, fell the the wayside unlike Reich's previous books where the murder was the primary focus of the protagonist a majority of each book.
