  • "This book was okay. It was going somewhere until we got to the last 100 pages...then it fumbled enough that none of us are interested in reading the next book."

  • "People who enjoy dark romance probably won't care about this, but I am genuinely sick of women always getting abused "for the plot" in this genre. Since this is a queer romance, I was hoping this book would also subvert that trope. Turns out, lesbian dark romance just means double the amount of women to abuse."
