Everything is Tuberculosis

A good introduction to the topic. I liked the interweaving between the historal perspective of the disease with the emotional personal story of Henry and the broader medical progress that John Green helps fund. However, as a sociology major I feel like the "social determinates of health" section was kind of stuck on at the end and didn't provide enough actionable tasks to move towards a more equitable society. I also appreciated the "for further reading" section. Definitely a departure from his YA work (although quite similar in tone to the Crash Course YouTube videos that he produces).
Moderate: Child death, Chronic illness, Death, Drug use, Mental illness, Terminal illness, Blood, Grief, Injury/Injury detail, Pandemic/Epidemic
