I'm really torn about this one. I think it had a lot of interesting elements to it, and it was quite a story of resilience. While it had sweet moments, I found most of it to be incredibly depressing. So much so that it was hard to pick up. The writing style also wasn't my favorite. I don't think I care for journal-style narrating, and I didn't have an emotional connection to the story. I did find it worth finishing though, and I think it had a good ending. So I guess I'll just have to keep thinking about it.
