Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume
2.0
Despite the title, I truly didn’t think it would have so much to do with religion.
Whenever it focused on parts about girlhood, I really liked it. I also liked how it showed that girls always want to get things associated with womanhood (periods, bras, chest development, etc) but how actually having it is not all fun.
I didn’t appreciate how her parents just seem incompetent and the grandparent stuff was annoying after a while. I also did NOT appreciate the creepy teacher.
It was fine.
