If you like Hunger Games; this book is for you! Paedyn is powerless and should have been killed long ago. Her father teaches her to pretend to be a psychic. He teaches her to defend herself. When her father is killed Paedyn finds herself in the slums trying to survive. When she saves Prince Kai's life she is thrust into the spotlight and entered into the trials. Paedyn not only has to survive the deadly trials, but also the royal politics. Not to mention she's stuck with the man who killed her father. This book has it all! I enjoyed every moment! Did I mention the flirting between Paedyn and Prince Kai?
