always slightly difficult reading a novel that echoes so much of yourself and wanting to enjoy it but being stuck in that comparative mindset !!!!!! to anyone that does wish to read this book (and i do recommend!) it is set largely during pandemic times which i was unaware - i’d love to say it doesn’t matter but for some reason it does ?
