Aeternum was a wonderful sequel to follow The Umbra King. For the most part I felt like all my questions and thoughts were wrapped up in this book. Each chapter i thought I was finally putting together what would happen next and what do you know, I was wrong. I really enjoyed the overall flow and conclusion of this duology. The one thing I will say is at times I felt like i was waiting for the story to reach the climax, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it just means that I was always thinking ahead trying to foreshadow what was next. Regardless, that does nothing to stop me from saying this book is easily five stars for me. 1) It grabbed my attention and held it from book one. 2) it got me out of my reading slump and made me excited to read again 3) I don’t think I’ve ever written a longer review for an ARC.
