Violet is one of the worst fmc's I've read in awhile and I grew up with Bella Swan. Xaden is bland and boring and never got better. I love a good edge lord, but he's not even funny? The sex scenes were about as enjoyable as game of thrones sex scenes (iykyk) and the plot was an insult to YA. I genuinely forgot multiple times that all of these characters were 23-26 because they acted like they were 15-16 and had bricks for brains. Not only did they kill off the only interesting human at the end Liam (who would've been a better love interest), but they pulled one of the weakest tropes by having Brennan turn out to be alive in the end.  ALSO reeeeaally convenient they make Andarna lose her time manipulation ability and grow bigger at the end.
