Yesterday's Gone: Season Four by Sean Platt, David W. Wright

3.0

Season four introduces a host of characters new to the series. The first two thirds of the book is focused on familiarizing the reader with the new faces, in addition to bringing us up to speed on the lives of those characters we know and love from seasons 1-3 because some time has passed since the end of season three.

I found the new characters uninteresting, and the pace of much of season four was too slow. It was not what readers of this series are accustomed to. Fortunately, the final one third of the book provides the action and intensity that I love about Yesterday's Gone. I was left with a feeling of anticipation for season five, despite my dissatisfaction early on.
