Under the Lights by Abbi Glines

3.5 STARS!

I was really looking forward to the second instalment in 'The Field Party' series since I loved the first book so much. Under The Lights is told in 3 perspectives: Willa, Gunner and Brady. In all honesty I was very much worried with the book being told in 3 POV's, mainly because I knew we'd be getting a love triangle and they're only good when they're amazingly written. And Abbi Glines presented hers well enough that I did like it. Willa is a fiercely loyal character, same with Brady. But Gunner. Gunner is misunderstood. He's trying to find himself in a place he knows he no longer belongs and that's just....sad.

But there was one thing that took from the entire book - It's so damn dramatic. And that's saying something as Abbi does drama so well. It wasn't just one thing coming out at a time, it was more one thing happened and then 2 seconds later something even more dramatic is revealed. I got lost in the fictionalised soap opera I was reading. And not in a good way.
