I liked that this wasn't just a romance story but had a big mystery plotline of someone terrorizing the ranch and trying to figure out who and why. It wasn't my favorite cowboy romance but it's still a very good cowboy romance! Lots of grumpy cowboys that were very loveable and obsessively possessive with lots of sarcasm and bantering. Ruby kinda rubbed me the wrong way, I don't know why. But I did feel for her and am so happy she got her HEA. But a lot of things would have been resolved or avoided if she'd just talk to people! But I get it, she's stubborn and strong independent fmc. I liked the sunflower & thorns concept throughout the book! Very sweet.
