Full disclosure, I read this because it was in my sister's Nook account and I was looking for something I didn't have to actually go out in the cold and get from the library, but I actually enjoyed it. I give it 4 out of 5 stars for YA fiction and would recommend it for adults looking for something in this genre (like me haha, its good reading for long commutes). The characters are teenagers and some of the themes are young, but it wasn't so much so that I felt weird reading it as an adult. Berry puts an interesting twist on the age old shapeshifter idea, one I hadn't heard before, which is the standard by which I judge all books these days. And I was interested enough to get the other two books from the library, despite having to go out in the cold to do it :)
