Like all Ben Elton books, this was a page-turner with surprises and plot-twists galore. I felt for the characters and just as I thought Jack and Peter would get their just desserts, I was surprised to find I was almost wishing it went differently. I liked the ending for Polly, it was a bit corny but satisfying to feel she gets her happy future.
