Unfortunately , this one would be a hard sell. The first ten or so pages were the worst of Maureen Johnson's writing (an author who I normally just love), the book wound up being pretty charming and sweet. It was a nice light read for the holidays, and I think it would be a great book to recommend to teen girls who don't particularly like reading - fast paced, with some really interesting characters.
