Style of writing isn’t something I’ve read before
- journal like, lots of babbling and streams of consciousness, which I found amusing at first.
But I don’t think it’s the style for me
- eventually skimmed through most pages.
2nd half of the book tugged on my heart strings. I started to feel anxious reading about other people’s anxiety lol. Enjoyed the unpredictability of how the characters’ stories interlinked. Ashamed of my gender biases/ assumptions - annoyed by society’s past conditioning.
Reading this and the midnight library
back to back was an experience
- am quite overwhelmed with emotions & reflections.
Time to take some deep breaths
and drink some chamomile tea.
