Favorite Case:
Hatamoto Family Case

Having a lot of false evidences lead you conveniently to a suspect from the very start, chances are that suspect isn't the real culprit. And that was what happened in this case. It was actually a smooth move to have Ichiro as the culprit. I know that a lot of times, the ones who seem unlikely to do the crime ended up being the culprit. Yes, he has his own motive, but it appeared not strong enough to kill his grandfather. And since money was a real deal in the family, you would think that money was linked to the real motive. But just like what Conan had said, he indeed dug his own grave with his last move. He thought that by stabbing himself, it would make him less suspicious and more a victim, but it was what made him more rooted as the culprit. But if it weren't because of Conan's deductions, I can never link all the three incidents with each other to know who did it.

In The Monthly Presents Case, I remember how suspicious Ran was about Conan's identity. It was just a really small case. I think it was made like that just to remind us that Conan was actually Shinichi and we should never forget about it. Sometimes that reminder would surfaced whenever the Black Organization was mentioned but a lot of times it was not. I mean, all the time it was about Conan solving the cases and as a great amount of time passed by, we were getting too familiar with the image of the child doing all the work that we seemed to forgot that he was actually in the middle of his own case as well. That he was actually a teenager stuck in a child's body. It was just great to see that there's at least one person that was able to see even just a small shadow of the truth about Conan's identity.
